“Exciting” may be the best word to describe Hope’s journey. At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2002, we held our first service in the rented cafeteria of Anaheim’s Katella High School. The floors were filthy, and our worship was nestled between lunch tables which had been hurriedly pushed aside. In the absence of musicians, we sang to Christian songs recorded from the radio. Yet even in such a humble setting, those present on Day One shared a sense of enthusiasm that this would be their church; and this could be a church to reach their family and friends. Hope was born!

Since that day 15 years ago, Hope has grown into a pillar in the community, currently residing in the heart of downtown Anaheim at the Anaheim Community Center. Our outreach programs like our annual Bag Of Hope Project has reached thousands of families in this city, as we continue to work to have a lasting impact in this city we call ours. Our church family is growing, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
